Great orb Project
This is a team base mini-game that is both free to play and on member’s servers, it is a non combat based game in which the aim of the game is to collect more points then the opposing team.
Getting Started
To get started in the game you need to go the third floor of the wizard’s tower and talk to either Wizard Acantha (Green team) or Wizard Vief (Yellow team). Once you have been accepted into the team you will receive 3 wands and a hat. Each round last for 2mins there are penalties for leaving a game early al will all mini-games.
- Repelling Wand- pushing the all orbs that are in its path away from you.
- Attracting Wand – Draws the orbs within your path towards you.
- Barrier Generator – Produces a barrier where you are stood of which the other team’s orbs cannot go through.
Points
The game is set around the rune alters, to gain points you need to attracted or push orbs on to the alter for each orb that reaches the alter you get a point towards the overall score of the team. At the end of each round being 6 in total you get an amount of rune essences that you can make into the rune of which you are in the alter of(most people save them for nats).
Winning and Losing
To win the game you need to get the most points on each alter and win the most alters but even if you lose you still can get a good amount of tickets.
Rewards
Win or Lose each member gets s some tickets:
- Winning an alter – for each alter your team wins you gain 100 tickets.
- losing an Alter- for each alter you lose you get 10 tickets.
- Drawing alters- for each alters that both teams draw on you will gain 25 tickets.
On top of the above 200(150 f2p) tickets are awarded to the overall winning team but if both teams draw then 100(75 f2p) tickets are rewarded, so win lose or draw you are going to get something from this game.
Tactics
There are a few ways that the games can be played:
- Drawing – The game can be fixed from the start make the total of tickets 400 per team if each teams takes 3 alters or if each team gets the same amount of points, this is the most favoured way of playing the game because everyone wins.
- Attractor- If your team has decided that it is going to win the game out right then this possession would be in charge of getting the orbs into the centre and around the barriers, purely focused on attracting leaving the barriers and deflecting to a hybrid or members that have those job roles.
- Deflector- as above but your soul aim is to make sure that the other teams orbs do not reach the alter.
- Defender- aids in deflecting and produces barriers where best suits the game that is being played.
- Hybrid- these do the lot they are players that know how to play the game and have the ability to switch between all the roles, this can be hard to do in a big game, and in these games a hybrid should decided which he prefers to do attract or deflect because he will need to semi-focus on this role and also keep an eye on the time.
Tickets
There is no limit to the amount of ticket that you can, and you can store them in your bank for another day. Below is a list of the items there cost and there uses there is a max trade limit of 50 per transaction:
- Rune crafting Robes- 1000 tickets- +3 bonus when playing the game.
- Rune crafting Bottoms – 1000 tickets - +3 Bonus when playing game.
- Rune crafting Gloves – 1000 tickets - +2 Bonus when playing game.
- Runecrafting Hat- 1000 tickets- hold no bonus that I have found.
these bonus are added to your Runecrafting level and will increase the speed/distance of which you attract and deflect. - Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Body, Mind, Choas Talisman – 25 Tickets – Used to bind runes
- Astral, Cosmic, Natural Talisman – 125 Tickets- used to bind runes.
- Runecrafting Staff- 10,000 tickets- can be used like a talisman
- Tablets of teleportation see bellow
- Rune essences – 1 ticket- Comes noted and be used to bind all Runes up to chaos
Tablets of Teleportation
These are tablets that can be broken and teleport you directly to that alter.
- Air – 30 tickets
- Mind – 32 tickets
- Water – 34 tickets
- Earth – 36 tickets
- Fire – 37 tickets
- Body -38 tickets
- Chaos – 39 tickets
- Cosmic – 40 tickets
- Astral – 41 tickets
- Natural – 42 tickets
- Law – 43 tickets
- Death – 44 tickets
- Blood – 45 tickets
- Runecrafting guild - 15 tickets
Omni Talisman
This talisman can be obtained buy taking one of every talisman or tiara (excluding elemental) to Wizard Elriss and she will give you the Omni Talisman, also you will receive 51305 exp and must be over level 50 to do this. This only works once so you can’t just drop it and gain the exp again, should you lose this you can obtain a new one from her.
Omni Runecrafting Staff
Show the Runecrafting staff and Omni talisman to Elriss and she will make you the staff.
